Physical Education

Physical Education at Lindow Community Primary School

At Lindow, Physical Education (PE) is an integral part of the curriculum, designed to develop children’s physical skills, confidence, and enjoyment of staying active. Our PE curriculum covers a wide range of activities, including athletics, gymnastics, dance, and team sports, ensuring that children build fundamental movement skills alongside teamwork and sportsmanship.

Beyond the curriculum, we offer a variety of extra-curricular sporting opportunities throughout the year, including football, netball and cross-country clubs, where children can develop their skills further and enjoy friendly competition. We are proud to have strong links with Wilmslow High School, enabling our pupils to take part in joint events, inter-school sporting leagues and community sports festivals. These partnerships not only enhance our PE provision but also provide valuable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of sport and healthy living.
