Admissions

We realise that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions that parents and carers make on behalf of their children.  School websites, Ofsted reports and league tables are informative but only tell part of a school's story...

It is essential that you choose a school that is right for your child - not only academically but socially and emotionally - and this can best be done by seeing the school in action, as it is day in, day out, and not just during a 'one-off' open day.

We are very proud of our school and welcome all prospective parents and carers to visit us and experience how our children are educated and cared for. Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Application Process (for all maintained Cheshire East primary schools see here)

Lindow Community Primary School follows Cheshire East Local Authority’s Policy for Admissions. To view this policy in full follow the above link. Our school’s Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 30 children.

All preferences must be made in writing and those made in accordance with the Council’s arrangements will be met except where this would prejudice efficient education or the efficient use of resources, i.e. where the year group in question is full. Applications for schools that are oversubscribed will be considered in accordance with the relevant published oversubscription criteria. (Application can be made on-line here)

Our local offer for Special Education Needs children can be found here.
