Our PTA

All parents and guardians of pupils at Lindow CP School are automatically members of our thriving and busy Parent Teacher Association (PTA). All members are entitled to attend meetings, vote on proposals and make suggestions for spending or raising funds. The main objective of the Association is, in partnership with the school and parents, to enhance the education and well-being of Lindow pupils by providing resources and opportunities for the children, as well as helping to enhance the school learning environment.
Lindow PTA plays an extremely important role in the life of the school in fundraising for projects, resources and equipment. Every year money is pledged to support music provision, the school reading scheme, ICT equipment, the Christmas panto trip, leavers’ hoodies, plus larger projects like the creation of the food tech room, the outdoor multi-use games area and the continuing development of the outdoor environment. 

Delivering on this broad remit of activities is only possible through the commitment and enthusiasm of our committee members and great band of volunteers, who all work tirelessly in support of the school.

The PTA Committee always welcomes and encourages new members, to ensure there is a breadth of representative opinions from all year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skillsets and experience of our parents and staff.

Meeting new people, knowing more about what goes on in Lindow, having a say in how money should be allocated, and making a difference to the pupils experience at Lindow are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with our PTA.

Our meetings are open to everyone, so why not come along to one and listen to the range of topics being discussed – you can contribute as much or as little as you wish and chose to get involved as much or as little as you wish.
