Remote Education

Remote Education Provision

In line with Department for Education guidance, Lindow Community Primary School maintains plans to ensure continuity of education should exceptional circumstances—such as severe weather, site emergencies, or public health directives—prevent children from attending school on-site.

When Remote Education is Provided

Remote education is typically only activated when a class or the whole school is forced to close temporarily, or where specific public health guidance advises extended isolation for individual pupils. It is generally not provided for short-term common illnesses or casual absences.

Delivery and Access

If remote education needs to be implemented:

  • Learning materials, tasks, or platform links will be communicated directly by class teachers.

  • Work provided will align closely with the current classroom curriculum to ensure pupils do not fall behind.
