At Lindow, British Sign Language is taught as an additional language to all pupils from Reception to Year 6, helping children develop communication skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of Deaf culture. Through engaging lessons, signed songs, performances and enrichment opportunities, pupils progressively build their signing skills while learning about inclusion, diversity and respect. Our BSL curriculum empowers children to become confident communicators who value and celebrate the rich heritage of the Deaf community.
